Every comms professional knows the pain of managing social media through Google Docs—hours wasted formatting posts and hashtags, leaving notes, and watching anonymous animals pop in and out without any clue who actually shared the content. If that sounds familiar, there’s a simpler way to get your content out and that’s exactly what Sarah discovered.
As a Digital Campaign Manager in Washington D.C., Sarah Sem spent two years coordinating messages across 250 partner organizations at the Climate Action Campaign. The mission—pushing for urgent climate policies—was ambitious, but Sarah kept running into the same dilemma as many comms professionals: how do you make it easy for partners to share consistent, engaging messages without wasting precious time?
Before SoSha, she coordinated social media guidance through Google Docs, spending hours formatting posts and usually only managing to build content for one platform due to time constraints.
“Partners had to copy and paste content, hunt down images from Google Drive, or worse, screenshot posts, which hurt quality and engagement,” she explained. “On top of that, we couldn’t track who actually used the content. It was time-consuming, frustrating, and created a lot of friction.”
The result was a broken loop: hours invested in creating social content, but no visibility into who was sharing, what was performing well, or what messaging actually resonated with audiences across the coalition.
How SoSha Streamlined their Social Media
Instead of Google Docs, Sarah decided to give SoSha a try in early 2025 to streamline its coalition communications. Over the past eight months, Sarah and her team built 22 interactive toolkits with pre-formatted posts, graphics, and hashtags—all in one place. Partners could now share a post in a few clicks and the graphics would transfer with less friction.

“SoSha was easy to use and made sharing across different social platforms seamless,” she explained. “We immediately started seeing our content in more places because it was so much easier for partners to post.”
By switching to SoSha, Sarah’s team did not just save time building content and giving their partners an easier way to share, the real-time analytics allowed them a new way to see how their partners were engaging, what content was gaining traction, and which platforms were most effective. With this new information, the CAC team is able to adjust their strategies in real time.
The Results: Animated Community Powered by Organic Social Sharing
CAC saw a 3x increase in posts shared after moving to SoSha. Their staff also spent hours less in formatting and distributing content, freeing up staff for other high-priority work. Most importantly, more partners began actively participating.
“Even the more brand-conscious organizations in our coalition started using our content, once it was packaged in SoSha toolkits,” Sarah remarked, explaining how SoSha’s analytics let them see that infographic-style posts performed better with these groups.
For coalitions seeking cohesive messaging within partner organizations, speed and unity are crucial. By switching to SoSha, Sarah found a simple but powerful formula: provide partners content, make it effortless to share, and watch the message ripple outward.
